The Real Reason the Obama Administration Will Not Define the Islamic Jihad
Guest:Bob Beckel
"This is day four of the controversy whereby the president and his acolytes will not say the world is threatened by 'Islamic terrorism.' White House spokesman Josh Earnest claims that Muslim religious leaders denounce the violence as 'entirely inconsistent with Islam.' Mr. Earnest and his boss refuse to acknowledge that there are thousands of Muslim imams all over the world who support the violent jihad. Then there is columnist David Ignatius of the Washington Post, who wrote that only the 'people in these communities' will stop the jihad. The military can't do it and the government can't do it, according to Mr. Ignatius. That point of view is naive and somewhat frightening. We are now in year 14 of the war on terror. If the Muslim street folks were going to take action against the jihadists, they would have done so long ago. The truth is that while many Muslims don't like the jihad, there is not an organized effort to combat it in the Muslim world. Some nations like Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco help, but they do so quietly; they don't want to stir up the radical Muslim element in their countries. The Muslim world is as frightened as the Western world and they have fewer protections. If you are sitting in Yemen and you say something against al Qaeda, you're a dead man or woman. So let's stop the nonsense. Radical jihadists threaten the world much like the Nazis did in the 1930's. Responsible nations, not individuals, must confront and destroy the jihadists in a methodical worldwide campaign. Do you get that, Mr. Ignatius? More importantly, do you get that, President Obama?"

The Factor welcomed FNC's Bob Beckel, who has dismissed Sunday's anti-terror march as a colossal waste of time. "Of those 40 world leaders who were marching in Paris," he pondered, "how many are actually fighting the jihadists? How many have airplanes in the air or boots on the ground? Not many! These guys murder a bunch of people and the worldwide community shows up and does a march like Selma? It's ridiculous, what they should be doing is spending their time fighting the jihadists. Does anybody think these demonstrations will stop any attacks?" Nevertheless, The Factor insisted that "there was no downside to President Obama sending somebody over there, this march was a uniting effort."
Exposing Islamic Extremists
Guest:Ryan Mauro
An organization called the Clarion Project is endeavoring to identify radical Islamic groups in the USA. The Factor asked Clarion's Ryan Mauro to pinpoint some examples. "There is a site in Hancock, New York called 'Islamberg,'" Mauro revealed, "which is the headquarters for a group that follows a radical cleric in Pakistan. They actually engage in guerilla training at that property. There is also an Islamic center in Falls Church, Virginia that has a history of radical leadership, and in Brooklyn a mosque is led by Siraj Wahhaj, one of the most radical imams in the country. He preaches anti-Americanism and wants to turn America into a caliphate." Mauro also described the Council on Islamic-American Relations, or CAIR, as "a political influence operation of the Muslim Brotherhood."
Improving Poll Numbers
Guests:Jane Hampton Cook & Tom Bevan
President Obama's poll numbers have been on the upswing lately, but how will he be judged by history? The Factor posed that question to political analyst Tom Bevan and historian Jane Hampton Cook. "His policies aren't that successful," Cook declared, "but he has been a smashing success as a campaigner, so you have to give him credit there. It's good to be cool and collected, but he hasn't shown enough passion and his strength has become his weakness." Bevan also gave the president less-than-glowing reviews. "His place in history is secure as the first African American president. But as far as domestic achievements go, ObamaCare is basically all there is and the jury is still out on that. Internationally, the consensus is that the world has unraveled on his watch." The Factor summarized thusly: "His leadership in the war on terror has been lacking and I don't think he has a vision for the economy."
Is It True?
Guests:Molly Line & Eric Shawn
The proposed Keystone Pipeline, which is generally opposed by liberals, has been the subject of warring claims from both sides. The Factor asked Fox News anchor Molly Line to administer a dose of truth serum. "It's not true that all of the crude oil is just going to end up on ships and be sent off to world markets," she stated, correcting a claim made by President Obama. "After being refined, it's estimated that 50% or more will stay in the United States. Jobs will be created, but some of them will be temporary." Looking abroad, FNC's Eric Shawn tried to unearth the truth about why Attorney General Eric Holder, who was already in Paris, skipped Sunday's anti-terror march. "He was doing TV interviews on Sunday morning," Shawn reported, "but the Department of Justice says he had to return to Washington Sunday afternoon. They're not saying why. I called various people to try and get an answer, but no one is talking." The Factor denounced the stonewalling bureaucrats: "We pay these people's salaries, but they're dodging. I have to conclude that something untoward is going on."
Analyzing Terrorism in Paris
Guest:Dennis Miller
Dennis Miller let loose on Islamic terror and the massive march in Paris. "I thought Obama would send Sharpton over there," Miller quipped, "because every time I see one of those parades where everyone links arms, Sharpton seems to know that drill. It's ironic to me that President Obama's approach to explaining terrorism is torturous to me. He won't use torture on actual terrorists, but I have to hear him belabor these points. Quite frankly, I think he didn't go because he thinks Charlie Hebdo is the slot receiver for the Green Bay Packers. He's gone past obstinate on this issue, he's now officially creepy." Miller also lauded the Dutch mayor, a Muslim immigrant himself, who forcefully denounced the Islamists. "Either he's the most courageous cat in the world," Miller posited, "or he got into the hashish cabinet over there."
Another Shocking ISIS Video
Guest:Martha MacCallum
ISIS has posted a new video that purports to show a young boy murdering two Russian captives. Martha MacCallum elaborated on the troubling story. "This boy has appeared in training videos before," she reported, "and he is said to be a member of a family that moved from Kazakhstan to Syria last year. They call these boys 'lion cubs of the caliphate.' It's heartbreaking to watch, but analysts say they are not sure there was actually an assassination. Russian intelligence will not confirm or deny that these guys are theirs, so this may be propaganda. But it's chilling."

Factor Words of the Day
Leonida Hatton, Houston, TX: "Bill, you were rude and arrogant to Judge Napolitano. You do not know the Constitution better than he does. You should apologize."

Joseph Marino, Lancaster, CA: "Bill, I wish to extend kudos for the way you stood up to the judge concerning anti-terror drone strikes. You are correct. Awesome job."

Christen Ganley, Memphis, TN: "Mr. O, you were out of line asking Laura Ingraham who she supports among the three Republicans you featured. That's a question you won't answer."
