Unstructured ball caps are newer. With unstructured caps the cloth of the front panels is not reinforced and thus the hat sits low on the forehead and has a more natural/closer fit on the head. If you are looking for the style of ball cap that has a high front profile like the professional baseball teams wear as part of their uniform then you are looking for a structured ball cap. | This is a stand out hat because of the great logo and I also get a lot of thumbs up when I wear it, not to mention the great quality. I also like it because it's deep enough to fit your head snugly and doesn't remind you of a beanie like so many unstructured hats do. |
