Besides the Democratic Party, the biggest opposition President Trump has is the corporate media. It is well established that much of the American press has discarded most journalistic standards in order to damage Mr. Trump.

 

At the same time, that activism has harmed the American people who were told that Russia helped the Trump campaign in 2016, that Hunter Biden's damning laptop was "Russian disinformation," and that Joe Biden was a vigorous and insightful leader.

 

Those are three enormous lies embraced by the liberal media, which hides behind First Amendment protections.

 

Well, now, it's payback time as the most powerful man in the world, Trump, has declared war on the press which despises him.  The President is using a variety of weapons, including lawsuits, loss of press access, and investigations into media corporations, in order to carry out his campaign.

 

Mr. Trump does have media allies in Fox News, Newsmax, and talk radio. But he is still heavily outnumbered on the press playing field, also in the entertainment industry, with the exception of country music.

 

And so the game is afoot, to quote Sherlock Holmes. And Donald Trump is in it to win it.
