Right now, polls say about 80 percent of Americans believe Putin should be punished for his war crimes in Ukraine. But some committed conservatives don't believe President Biden has the right to be the punisher - because he attacked the fossil fuel industry strengthening evil Vlad.
Also, because Mr. Biden refuses to protect the U. S. border, he has no moral authority in the Ukrainian matter.
Now, it is true that Joe Biden is a poor president, perhaps the worst since Herbert Hoover. But he is still the leader of the free world, which has to oppose Putin or the free world evaporates.
That's what Putin and his Chinese friends would very much like to see.
So, to undermine America's condemnation of Putin - because of Biden - is amazingly misguided. All Americans should be rooting for Putin's demise - and not conflating his actions with Biden's.
