Turbulence. Most human beings don't like it. But that's what we have in the USA right now.
Politico is reporting that President Trump is shaking up his economic team. Anonymous sources, as usual. But that sounds right. The tariff chaos has hurt the President.
Going forward, better trade deals are coming. I believe that. And the President should be magnanimous when they are completed. It is best if the world does not despise us. Yes, the foreign transactions have to be improved. They are not fair to us. But let's get some harmony after.
Putin and China are exceptions, of course. They are not looking for harmonious opportunities. They want dominance and are willing to kill to get it.
However, both China and Russia are vulnerable economically but the USA cannot impose order on them alone. We need allies. That should be the number one strategy after this hellish tariff thing dies down.
Life is hard, and then you die. The cliche is true with one caveat. Smart, disciplined leadership can lessen the hard part. Let's hope that happens.
