He didn't look worried.  The first thing I noticed when President Trump addressed the press with Israeli leader Bibi Netanyahu.

Mr. Trump will make trade deals, I can guarantee that because he has no choice. The world is nervous about Trump's confrontational personality and that insecurity works to his advantage.

However, Trump reports to the American people not protectionists in Berlin.  And he does care what the folks think of him.  So, let the negotiations begin.

Most television analysts have no clue what's actually happening here.  Their most astute comment is: we'll see.  Well, we've already seen.  You people don't even care to know anything.  It's choir practice every day; telling your audience what it wants to hear.

Here's what I know.  Donald Trump is gambling that America's power will win the day and trade margins will dramatically improve for the USA.  I looked for uncertainty in the Q&A with the press.  I didn't see any.  The man thinks he is going to win this.

If he does and prosperity rises for Americans, he'll continue his quest for Rushmore.  But if chaos ensues the specter of Herbert Hoover will visit the White House.

And that's the absolute last thing Donald Trump wants.
