President Trump has more energy than me, your humble correspondent, and that's a high bar.  Watching the guy is wearing me out.

As Dan Ackroyd said in Blues Brothers, "We're on a mission from God."  Mr. Trump is driven to accomplish.  Nothing will stop him from that mission.

But caution should accompany speed. Complex issues require "war gaming," that is, analyzing unintended consequences.

Mr. Trump is likely to succeed if he avoids unnecessary distractions.  All battles are not worth fighting.  And for every victory, you get stronger in the eyes of opponents. I hope we soon see a few cartel leaders go down.  I am also rooting for some Homeland Security/migrant defiers to face federal charges.

Once things like that begin to happen, problems get easier to solve.  Ask Teddy Roosevelt about the big stick.  Already, the world understands the weakness President Biden fostered is now history.

As for Mr. Biden, his future is in the hands of Mr. Trump.  It looks like the then Vice President took money from his son and brother and hid it from the tax man.  A felony.

Will President Trump order the FBI to pursue it?  Unclear at this point.
