For most of my adult life I have voted for problem solvers, politicians who put forth a vision that might improve America.  Used to be they were found in both parties.

 

But today there are few problem solvers in Washington.  Instead, the Democratic Party has largely become a far left operation, while the Republicans resist that madness.  It is all about ideology not how to improve the lives of Americans.

 

The immigration raids are a good example of my assessment.  Homeland security agents are seeking foreign nationals who have orders of deportation, issued by federal judges, in order to send them out of the country.

 

But many democrats oppose that action even though it is lawful.  The democrats in effect are encouraging anarchy.

 

If the law is optional, then public order will soon collapse.  We are already seeing that in San Francisco and Los Angeles, two cities that are led by radical left politicians.  If the Democratic Party wins the presidency and controls congress after the election of 2020, here’s what we can expect nationwide.

 

- no constraints on illegal immigration 

 

- tax payer dollars used to support undocumented aliens who arrive in this country 

 

- citizenship for illegal aliens already here

 

- a mass release of convicted felons already in prison

 

- legalization of marijuana and eventually all narcotics 

 

- legalization of prostitution 

 

- federal payments to African-Americans for the damage done by slavery 

 

- seizure of assets from affluent Americans 

 

And that’s just a partial list.

 

Some of those things would be challenged in court and perhaps the Supreme Court would strike them down.  But there is no question the democrats are embracing the most radical political agenda in the country’s history and the media is largely cheerleading the movement.
