There are many issues to be had with President Biden's State of the Union speech, but media and members of his own party want to take issue with his word choice.

While addressing Laken Riley, Biden used the word "illegal" in describing the man who killed the young University of Georgia student.

Nancy Pelosi commented on CNN, saying he should have used another word. There are reports that some Democrats are angry, painting the word use as a slur.

In defense of Biden, it came across as if he was paraphrasing Marjorie Taylor Greene.

But how silly is it that this term, which progressives designated as bad sometime in the last 20 years, is their focus while the death of Laken Riley and the issues that come with an essentially open border continue to impact our country in a negative way.

Instead of focusing on that, and Biden's policy mistakes, they focus on words.

What about the big issues?
