So Karine Jean-Pierre got pounded Tuesday when the usually moribund White House press corps were embarrassed into asking questions about President Biden's obvious mental decline. Of course, those queries should have been asked months ago.
The press doesn't know exactly what to do now that Joe's cover has been blown. So, they asked perceptive questions like, is the President senile?
To which Ms. Karine replied, "No."
Well, I guess that's that.
The ever-loyal Jean-Pierre also pointed out that her boss had a cold during the debate.
Whereupon Jon Lovitz bellowed: that's the ticket!
One reporter asked Karine, soon to be 50, "Why doesn't the President just walk out here and take questions? He's right around the corner."
Karine had no answer but looked sad. She knows her boss is incapable of answering questions that are more complicated than "What flavor of ice cream do you want?"
President Warren Harding may have been senile in the early 1920s but it was tough to tell because the gentleman from Ohio was never swift to begin with. Ronald Reagan began to fail in 1987, but he was on the way out and Nancy would hit you with a pot if you mentioned anything.
But now President Biden is asking Americans to put him back into office for another four years.
Talk about senile.
