My takeaway from the Q&A is that most Europeans, including the press over there, have little concept of how working Americans actually live.  They get bombarded with Trump bombast without context.  It's obviously easy to demonize any politician, and that's what's happening in Europe with Trump.

 

The media over there is largely left of center and not very interested in American problems like high prices and chaos at the border.  They are dialed into Ukraine and the Middle East but, generally speaking, are limited in their understanding of how Americans view those situations.

 

Thus, many Europeans don't understand why President Trump is back.  They have been given little information on the disastrous Biden administration and obviously haven't lived it as we have.
