President Biden believes what he wants to believe. But outside of Jill Biden and a relatively few other diehard supporters, the country now understands Joe is not living in the real world.
The President only sat with ABC's George Stephanopolous for 22 minutes on Friday. Why the short time? This was the most important interview of his life by far. Why the truncated chat? Did Biden have something else to do?
During the interview he denied the poll numbers were correct, said there is absolutely nothing wrong with him, and refused to undergo cognitive testing to allay the fears of the nation.
He looked frail, spoke softly, carried no stick. Soon, there may be a cane.
Sorry to be cynical but the man is off the chart dangerous. He cannot run the country. All perceptive Americans know it.
But President Joe doesn't know it. He denies all. He wants to believe he's Teddy Roosevelt living a vigorous life.
Instead, he's Franklin Roosevelt, a drastically infirmed Presidential candidate in 1944. But, back then, the American people did not understand FDR's soon-fatal condition.
Now, Joe Biden's status is undeniable. He's done.
