Leadership and President Obama
Guest:Brit Hume "In two weeks my new book Killing Patton will be in the marketplace. The book is about leadership, and Barack Obama should read it because we need strong leadership in America right now. On Sunday, when asked about playing golf after talking about James Foley's beheading, President Obama said, 'I should have anticipated the optics.' But why did he not anticipate the optics? It is obvious to most people you don't play golf after announcing the gruesome beheading of an American citizen. Talking Points does not believe Barack Obama is a callous person. He has helped raise millions of dollars for wounded veterans, he cares about children at risk, and he has been a terrific role model for American families. But the president is not a natural leader and that is harming the nation. The world needs to be inspired to take action against Islamic terrorists and the Russian villain Putin, but President Obama does not seem to understand that. He continues to meander around, making conflicting statements about ISIS, failing to punish Russia in effective ways. Savages are murdering innocent people all over the world, and they are not afraid of America. Our allies are weak, selfish, not interested in global justice, so it becomes vitally important for America to lead the world. This week Mr. Obama will make yet another speech about how he will finally confront the ISIS threat. We hope he includes Putin in that speech and that finally, after all this time, Barack Obama will show some passion and some determination to eradicate evil in ways that are smart and effective."
The Factor pursued the subject of President Obama's leadership with FNC's Brit Hume. "The mere act of this upcoming speech," Hume said, "is more leadership than he has heretofore shown, but the question is what he will be willing to do. This president tends to select the means to accomplish an end, and then bases his ends on the set of means that he has chosen. Instead of setting the goal and then choosing the tools, he picks the tools and then ends up with goals that are built around that. It's upside down, and he tends to minimize threats." The Factor concluded that President Obama's insouciance has damaged America, both at home and abroad: "He wanted to unite the country and failed on that, and we are perceived as weak throughout the whole world. It seems that his main intention is to give the impression that he's cool and has everything under control."

The 2016 Presidential Race
Guests:Juan Williams & Mark Katharine Ham During an appearance on Fox News Sunday, Mitt Romney ridiculed President Obama's priorities and even took some shots at the president's affection for golf. Juan Williams and Mary Katharine Ham discussed the possibility that Romney will run for president in 2016. "I don't think there's any way he's going to run," Williams declared, "but he sure sounds like it. The last time around he had trouble energizing the GOP base and right now Hillary Clinton would hold a big lead over Mitt Romney." Ham theorized that Romney is merely reminding people that they made the wrong choice in 2012. "This is his chance to come out and say, 'Can we remember that I was right about a ton of things?' But I don't think he'll run because he'll have the same problem message-wise that he did before."

No Spin Interview
Guest:Jorge Ramos This segment featured excerpts from an interview conducted last week, when Univision anchor Jorge Ramos grilled Bill on a host of issues. On the subject of immigration, The Factor said this: "I want everyone to be treated fairly, but I don't want the chaos to continue. We need to have a system where it's impossible to physically get in unless you go through the process." Ramos objected, saying, "You want an impenetrable border, which is impossible because 40% of the undocumented people are coming in by plane." Ramos turned to so-called "white privilege," insisting that black Americans are the victims of systematic discrimination. The Factor gave this rebuttal: "Asians are doing much better than whites, so is that 'Asian privilege?' You have to look at successful people and what makes them successful. Asians make more money than whites or blacks because they keep the family together, there is an emphasis on education, and there is parental supervision of children."

What Really Happened in Benghazi
Guests:Mark Geist & Kris Paronto In a new book called "13 Hours," three former CIA security contractors document their harrowing experiences in Benghazi on the night of September 11, 2012. Two of the authors, Mark Geist and Kris Paronto, entered the No Spin Zone to elaborate on the story. "We got a call on the radio from our team leader," Paronto recalled, "and we knew that people were in trouble. The only information we had was that the State Department compound was being overrun, and we got ready to go within five minutes." Geist lamented that he and his colleagues were told to wait. "There were six highly trained operators with almost 100 years of combined experience in counter-insurgency operations. Are you going to hold back that asset." The Factor demanded that Congress elicit testimony from the former Secretary of Defense, saying, "Leon Panetta knows exactly what happened and he has not been honest with the American people."

Shocking Mob Attack
Guest: Megyn Kelly A large band of mostly black teens went on a rampage in Tennessee Saturday, attacking and stomping at least three people. Megyn Kelly provided details of the disturbing story. "I don't know about the racial motivation," she said, "because reports from people at the scene say there were black victims and white victims. It doesn't seem that they were picking people by race, they were picking them by susceptibility and vulnerability. Early reports are that this is another episode of the 'Knockout Game,' where random gangs pick out some innocent victim and beat the hell out of them. But even if they were only picking out whites, it wouldn't be a 'hate crime' unless you could show that they were going after people because of their skin color."

Powerful Women
Guest: Jesse Watters Jesse Watters again hit the beach to interview some women ... about other women. Some of the females could not identify photos of Nancy Pelosi or Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but were very familiar with Ellen DeGeneres and Beyoncé. Back in the studio. Watters summarized his latest adventure. "We interviewed eight women," he reported, "and not one knew Nancy Pelosi or Justice Ginsburg. Only two of them knew Hillary Clinton and they were harsh on her. But all of them loved Beyoncé and Ellen - if Ellen ran for president, she would win!"

Viewers sound off
Karen Bryden, Danville, CA: "Really Bill? 4 emails supporting your position on the sexism controversy, but none opposing?"
Don Michel, Montecito, CA: "Bill, the State Department calling you sexist is merely the precursor to any upcoming criticism of Hillary Clinton."
Ann Marie Buscema, Oldham England: "That woman! It's 2014, Mr. O'Reilly."
Sue Charlton, Ipswich, MA: "Bill, I can't hold back. The government has no business getting involved in wages for private business."
