Special Counsel and Trump hater Jack Smith now wants federal charges against Mr. Trump dropped.  The New York City fiasco is in ruins as sentencing in the hush money case has been postponed indefinitely.  And the Atlanta election prosecution will soon be dropped.  In fact, DA Fani Willis will be lucky if she isn't indicted.

 

Add to that the collapse of MSNBC and CNN, and the President-Elect has scattered his most virulent opponents into the MAGA wind.

 

So, how exactly did that happen?  First, Mr. Trump worked harder than any presidential candidate in history to spread his message that political corruption must cease.

 

Second, he got lucky with two weak Democrats running against him.  Joe Biden is the second worst president in history, and Vice President Harris elevated befuddlement to the Beavis and Butthead level.

 

Finally, life helped Donald Trump.  Most Americans and the country in general were indeed far better off four years ago when he reluctantly left office.

 

So the Thanksgiving party is on at Mar-a-Lago.  History has never seen anything close to what Mr. Trump has accomplished.  He faced the dragon and slew it.

 

Like him or not, that's the truth.
