Well, those days are long gone. Now the President is full of praise for extremists. Two recent examples.

On Thursday, Mr. Biden was very bullish on Congresswoman Maxine Waters, saying that he agrees with anything she says. Wow.

Does that include justifying violence as Ms. Waters did after George Floyd was killed? Say it ain't so, Joe.

Also, this week Mr. Biden sent birthday greetings to Joy Behar, one of the biggest haters on television. Ms. Behar is 80 and more vitriolic than ever.

The more I observe the President, the more I am coming to believe that Biden faked us out with his "moderate Joe" posture. I now think he truly is a far-left guy who despises the other side and deeply admires polarizers like Waters and Behar.

Joe Biden fooled a lot of folks. Including me.
