There's just never a down day with Trump in the White House.  It's like New Orleans during Mardi Gras: hyperactivity all over the place. Let's run down some post-Easter important stuff.

 

The stock market continues to decline, and almost 60 percent of Americans now say they are delaying major purchases.  That has a recession feel so this tariff thing better start getting resolved.

 

If trade deals happen soon, the markets will rocket and the President will have more power to force agreements in Ukraine and Iran.

 

The small ball stuff, like the guy in El Salvador, should cease.  Bring him back. Have the Justice Department present evidence to the immigration judge assigned.  Due process is a good thing. Embarrassing the corrupt media is also good.  If the guy is MS-13, the press takes a huge hit.

 

Finally, this week, honor the humanity of Pope Francis. Put migrant policies aside and applaud his compassion. Yet another good thing.
