The social media masses love to be outraged.
Today's latest controversy involves ESPN broadcaster and former Dallas Cowboys QB Troy Aikman making a "misogynistic" comment.
Aikman was working Monday night's game, addressing whether or not referees have overcorrected regarding hits on quarterbacks following a couple of "questionable" calls.
The sportscaster wondered out loud if the league's competition committee would "take the dresses off," prompting millions of keyboard warriors (and bots) to slam the former player as a caveman.
While the comment is a little dated, you'd think he called women a bad word if you were on Twitter.
At least the poor sportswriters have something to write about.
