Bill & Beck on the End of the Korean War, Kanye West's Support of Trump, and More
April 27, 2018

Beck starts off Friday’s interview with Bill discussing how the judges on the UK Court of Appeal once again ruled against 23-month-old Alfie Evans' family. Wednesday's ruling rejected new arguments intended to overturn a decision by the High Court on Tuesday that prevented the terminally ill toddler from leaving Britain for medical treatment. Bill says that unfortunately, this is not the first time the British have said that if a child or an elderly person cannot survive then they won’t do anything to elongate their life. The atrocity is that the Vatican has said they would care for the child’s care because they believe that life is sacred. So, the question is why the British authorities would say ‘no you can’t do that.’ That’s when you get into real oppression. Beck asks Bill if he were in the circumstance of Alfie’s parents what he would do? Bill replies saying that as soon as the diagnosis came down from the hospital he would have gone to Italy to appeal to the Vatican because this is not the first time a situation like this has occurred in Britain.

Beck then switches topics to the end of the Korean War. Bill says that the reason this happened is that the Chinese basically told Kim Jong Un that he’s ‘bad for business’ and if he doesn’t cooperate they’re going to stop the oil flow into North Korea. Kim Jong Un has realized no one is on his side anymore so to get back in the spotlight he’s trying to look reasonable. Kim Jong Un’s first step was to agree to a meeting with President Trump. The second step he took was to embrace his counterpart in South Korea, Moon Jae-in, and come to an agreement that the Korean War is dead. All of this is just happening to fulfill the narcissism of ‘Rocket Man’. But, that’s OK because so far it seems to be benefitting the world. Bill says that this is a huge win for Trump, which is why the left-wing media has been downplaying it.

The migrant caravan is Beck’s next hot topic. This caravan has reunited in the Mexican city of Tijuana, and these migrants are planning on crossing the U.S. border this weekend. Bill says there’s no way that this will happen, the Mexican police will stop them. The Mexican government is afraid of Trump especially with the NAFTA agreement being renegotiated, so they won’t let these migrants even get close to the U.S. border.

Beck switches gears and finishes the interview by discussing Kanye West and how he has been supporting Trump through tweets this past week. His fondness for Trump seems to come out of the blue, except for the fact that Kanye has a new record coming out, and what better way to bring attention to himself than to admit that he likes Trump. Beck says that what Kanye has done by praising Trump is break a cultural barrier. Beck asks: don’t we have the right to have a difference of opinions? Bill says that if the Hollywood elite says that someone is bad, and you disagree, then you’re blacklisted from the community. Unfortunately, that is where we are at in this country. Kanye can say whatever he wants because he has a huge following and millions of dollars, but if he were a character actor then he wouldn’t be allowed to say what he wanted.
