We've known Congressman Anthony Weiner for years and believe he has totally botched the Twitter-gate story.

Weiner is a smart guy but telling the press he doesn't know if the picture in question is him is eye-roll material. Whether or not Weiner sent an inappropriate tweet to a young woman is still to be determined. But there is no question the Congressman is looking very bad trying to explain the situation.

He continues to assert that someone hacked into his Twitter account and sent out a photograph of a guy in his undershorts to a 21-year-old woman in Seattle.

REP. ANTHONY WEINER, D-N.Y.: I want to tell you that you know photographs can be doctored, can be manipulated, can be put in one account into another account.

BRET BAIER, FOX NEWS ANCHOR: So it's possible it is you.

WEINER: And we are trying to -- what I will say is this, is that I know for a fact that my account was hacked.

BAIER: Hacked?

WEINER: So they are -- made hacked into -- the account was hacked. Someone tweeted something saying they were me that wasn't me.

Ok. Now predictably someone in left-wing media are protecting Weiner as the Congressman is a very liberal person. Last night he was one of only 97 Democrats in the House to vote in favor of raising the debt limit; 318 Congressman voted against that including 82 Democrats, Nancy Pelosi among them voted against it. Talk about a-twitter.

As we've stated, the FBI should be involved in the Weiner story. But they will not confirm anything to us. That's wrong because national security is involved. It's clear from the WikiLeaks controversy that some very bad people have compromised U.S. national security by hacking into government websites, exposing Afghan war strategy among other things.

Just this week, PBS says it was hacked by people angry with the "Frontline" program. And you may remember that BillOReilly.com was hacked into by a college student named Mitchell Frost. U.S. attorney's office in Ohio convicted him and he is now serving 30 months in a federal prison.

Worldwide, the hacking situation is so serious that the Pentagon now says computer sabotage coming from another country can constitute an act of war.

The USA simply cannot stand by and allow members of Congress to be attacked by cyber criminals. Weiner's case is dumb. But if he was hacked, that's serious. So the FBI should be involved and should tell the folks they're on the case. High-tech sabotage is a danger to all Americans. And the Justice Department must get involved now.

A Supreme Court decision will force the state to release something like 46,000 convicts, because of overcrowding. But the good news: the Oakland Raiders will have more season ticket holders. Yes! Yes, the stadium will be packed!

Ooh, not good. Because I understand how these things work, odds are Jay Leno did not know that "Red Eye" was the originator of that joke. But surely, one of its writers did. And that guy is a pinhead. It's not right to crib stuff.

Now last night we asked you whether the movie "Hangover 2" was a pinheaded or patriotic exercise. The votes are in: 78 percent of you say pinheaded; 22 like the humor in the film.

Now because of this, I now have to watch the "Hangover" movies. Thanks a lot. They've become a phenomenon, and I'm going to have to see what they're all about, so please pray for me.
