President Joe Biden has turned down the CBS network's request to conduct a Super Bowl interview, marking his second year declining the tradition.

It's speculated that he declined Fox's request last year to avoid Fox News.  But CBS has been kind to Biden, making his latest decision surprising.

The Super Bowl presidential interview is a tradition that goes back to the administration of George W. Bush. Your humble correspondent had the honor to conduct three tough interviews – one with President Trump and two with President Obama that we’ve included below. 

First, Bill sits down with President Trump to discuss foreign relations, the rise of ISIS, and his relationship with Tom Brady, ahead of Super Bowl 51, in 2017. This includes the worldwide headline-making “Putin is a killer” exchange.
