There is some trouble at Fox News after The New York Times said that Tucker Carlson has criticized some of his colleagues, off the record to journalists hostile to the operation.
First off, I have no idea whether that’s true and anonymous sources will not convince me. It is obvious that the liberal media despises FNC and will do anything to hurt the network.
Second, the media is a vicious industry and people say bad things about each other all the time for a variety of reasons, including jealousy.
New York Times reporters routinely trash each other. When I worked at Fox, there was a woman whose main job was to disseminate malicious gossip to management. We call her “the Informant.”
Salacious gossip has replaced fact/based reporting in many newsrooms. That’s why only 29 percent of Americans now trust the press. Standards have collapsed.
But not here. I hope you’ll take some time this weekend to examine our reporting and analysis. You will see a dramatic difference from the corporate media.
Also, please listen to my radio chats with Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck. And get your tickets to the Trump-O’Reilly History Tour. That will be something, I can guarantee you.
Enjoy the weekend.
