One of the most interesting storylines from the Joe Biden debate debacle has been the media's coverage.

 

For years, conservative media and social media has been documenting every flub made by the President, every gaffe.

 

While some were small, many were not.  Many were noteworthy of some coverage but the media ignored it until the debate, when they had no choice and were shocked.

 

The mainstream press ignores the fact that they ignored the obvious signs of the Presidents decline.

 

Yet, they jumped on Donald Trump when he said Covid originated from China. Which has been confirmed. They took everything Trump said literally, often generalizing his comments for not explicitly laying out every time that his problem is with criminal migrants crossing the border. But the press says he calls all Mexicans criminals.

 

Every flub Trump has made makes headlines, but Biden gets the benefit of the doubt until they are forced to address.

 

Is there a double standard there?
