The Hate-Trump Media Movement is Damaging the Press

Michael Goodwin wrote a perceptive column in the New York Post yesterday pointing out that the hate-Trump media movement has badly damaged the press in America.

Maybe beyond fixing.

Since the Vietnam War, the national media has tilted left and with the rise of opinion programming on cable news, that bias is now in stone.

Television news operations are tribal, that is there is a culture in each organization. Same thing for newspapers and college journalism schools.

For example, the leadership at CNN, the New York Times, and the Washington Post among others is comprised mainly of politically correct liberals. If a reporter, editor, or producer in those organizations were to hold non-liberal views, they will not be trusted with high value assignments. They would also be socially shunned.

Interestingly, it’s not like that at the right-leaning Fox News Channel where a variety of opinion is put forth every day and no one is damaged internally. Management at FNC is removed from daily coverage.

The liberal news organizations have taken things to the extreme now that Donald Trump is president. No longer is there any hope of fairness. A recent article in The National Review about The New York Times slyly distorting the record of Judge Brett Kavanaugh is a prime example of press corruption.

Here on BOR.com we NEVER shape-shift the news. We give it to you straight. There are no corporate masters, there is no deceit.

We’ll prove it again tonight on the No Spin News. See you beginning at 7 eastern time.
