If Oprah Winfrey wants to run for President in 2020, the Democratic Party will be thrilled to have her.  

Last night at the Golden Globe Awards, Ms. Winfrey gave a political speech that signaled her interest in public policy.  

She skillfully played the male misconduct card, rallying women who feel marginalized, then pivoted into praising the press as protectors of the realm.

 

In just a few moments, Oprah turned millions of women and the entire media into a support machine.  Indeed, shortly after her speech, NBC tweeted supporting her phantom presidency.
