NBC’s Lester Holt was awarded the Edward R. Murrow Lifetime Achievement Award from Washington State University. In his speech he says how important it is as a news reporter to call out and push back on “falsehoods,” that are made by our political leaders.

However, NBC has an entire network devoted to propaganda - MSNBC. That's not a newsgathering operation. So, although Lester is correct in theory, his own network doesn’t practice what he is preaching. Especially when it comes to Donald Trump!
