Will the Jihad Defeat America?
"Close to two years ago, reports began surfacing that militant jihadists were gathering power in Syria. President Obama did not take any action. Then ISIS infiltrated into Iraq and a full-fledged ground war began. Once again, President Obama did little. Finally the situation threatened Kurdistan, a strong American ally in the northern part of Iraq. That forced Mr. Obama to step up bombing the savages, who were taunting the USA and the world by beheading captured Westerners on camera. But despite all the carnage, President Obama and the Pentagon did not develop any cohesive plan to defeat ISIS, which has captured the city of Ramadi, just 70 miles away from the Iraqi capital. This is a catastrophe, yet the administration still doesn't see the urgency. White House spokesman Josh Earnest actually says 'we have seen a lot of success.' Perhaps all Americans should send Mr. Earnest some sand so he can put his head in it. The Obama administration is losing the fight against ISIS. That savage group is now operating in nine countries. Talking Points believes that the apathy the administration has shown to this growing worldwide threat endangers all Americans. The best historical comparison I can give you is President James Buchanan, who ignored the growing threat of secession from the southern states. He did little to keep the country together and the bloody civil war broke out. Thank God Abraham Lincoln had the guts and intelligence to win that war. If President Obama doesn't kick it into gear quickly, the next president will be facing an armed conflict in the Middle East that will dwarf anything we have seen so far, including the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan."

The Factor pursued the ISIS debacle with author Michael Rubin and Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer. "ISIS is on the move," Shaffer warned, "and what they're doing in Afghanistan is quite brilliant. They've partnered with another terror organization and my sources tell me that they have control of five northern provinces in Afghanistan and they're taking over the drug trade in the south. They are beheading, threatening, and going after the mineral resources in north Afghanistan. The Pentagon is downplaying all this." Rubin denounced the administration for being totally unrealistic about the threat. "In the fight against ISIS it's one step forward, two steps back. But the White House and Pentagon will only allow the reporting of the one step forward, so we don't recognize that we are losing this war. This is willful incompetence."
Veterans Against ISIS
An organization called "Veterans Against ISIS" is about to confront the terrorists in Iraq and elsewhere. The Factor was joined by former Army Sergeant Sean Rowe, who founded the group. "Our primary mission is to liberate Iraq," he declared. "We have nearly two dozen veterans right now and I'm talking to a lot more. We'll be working with locals over there and I'll put my team against four times the number of ISIS fighters." The Factor lauded Rowe's goals, but warned him that he is putting his life on the line: "You're going to a foreign nation and you're partnering with some people you don't know. They're looking for Americans to kidnap over there and I don't want to see your head on a stick."
Subpoenaed by Benghazi Committee
Hillary Clinton has hired some take-no-prisoners infighters to help her win the presidency. The most notorious is Sidney Blumenthal, who did business in Libya and has been subpoenaed by the committee investigating the Benghazi attack. Democrat Nomiki Konst and Republican Andrea Tantaros weighed in on Clinton's strategy. "Blumenthal is the Clintons' henchman," Tantaros said. "They sent him out to smear Monica Lewinsky and he smeared a lot of other people, including President Obama." Konst conceded that the Clinton-Blumenthal partnership emits an unpleasant odor. "This doesn't look good, but there are contractors everywhere in these countries trying to make a few bucks. Blumenthal was trying to make money in Libya and he was using his relationships to do that." The Factor added that questions surrounding Hillary Clinton are mounting, saying, "The voters are getting overwhelmed, this never stops."
Is it True?
Applicants for legal entry into the U.S. complain that they are being leap-frogged by illegal immigrants because of President Obama's executive actions. Fox News anchor Shannon Bream injected some truth serum into that claim. "The feds are prioritizing those who got a deportation delay by the president," she reported. "There are more than 4-million people waiting to come in legally, and some have been given an estimated waiting time of 33 years!" On another subject, Asian-American groups accuse Harvard of discrimination, contending that Asian applicants have to meet far higher standards to be admitted. FNC's Eric Shawn examined that allegation. "20% of the freshman class at Harvard is Asian," he said, "but if you look at the test scores, they say the freshman class should be 42% Asian or even more. A school is not allowed to have a quota but you can use race as a factor in a general way. Harvard says it judges the 'holistic' person."
The Sage of Southern California
Dennis Miller sounded off on the Clinton Foundation and Hillary Clinton's woes. "The Clinton Foundation has more shaky donors," he observed, "than a blood bank next to a bus terminal. This is no longer about whether she is candid or an effective politician. People on the left like her because she's like Lucy pulling the football away from us conservatives. All they dig about her is that she drives us crazy." Miller also opined on Vladimir Putin playing hockey and Mitt Romney stepping into the ring with Evander Holyfield. "Putin looks adorable and it's nice to see him wearing something, he usually bares his chest more than Pam Anderson in the 90s. And Mitt's such a nice guy that he bought Holyfield's ear from Mike Tyson and reattached it."
Helping Wounded Veterans
Finally, The Factor welcomed actor Gary Sinese, who explained why he spends much time and energy raising money for wounded vets. "I've been involved with veterans going back to the 80s," Sinese said, "and I got very involved after playing a wounded vet in Forrest Gump. Then, after 9/11, we needed help supporting our men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan. One of the programs we have provides special housing and mobility devices for wounded vets. There's a lot of satisfaction and spiritual nourishment, I feel that I was called to do this." The Factor reminded viewers that Sinese and his band will be at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City Thursday night, with proceeds of course going to help wounded veterans.

Factor Words of the Day
Mark Rosasco, Bradenton, FL: "It's time to see the list of who gave what to the Clinton Foundation and what issues they had before the government."

Kim Hundley, Charlotte, NC: "Mr. O, you said your head droops when you see so many Clinton controversies. You and I have the same ailment."

Ron Miller, Madison, WI: "Bill, you said the only way that wages will rise is for business to expand. That's not the only way. If fewer illegal aliens were working here, wages would rise."

Judy Worrell, Wake Forest, NC: "Bill, I am honored to be called a housewife. I don't want to be called a 'domestic engineer.'"
