Christians in Danger
Guests: Jessica Stern & Rev. Franklin Graham
"According to the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 220 Christians have recently been abducted by the ISIS savages. The Christian minority in the Middle East is under siege by jihadists who believe they are mandated to kill infidels. The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt has attacked churches and Christian homes; in Saudi Arabia, any religion other than Islam is against the law; authorities in Iran routinely arrest Christians. But the Christian world is largely silent and the Obama administration continues to downplay the threat. John Kerry said yesterday, "We are actually living in a period of less daily threat to Americans and to people in the world than normally.' Secretary Kerry would be better served by developing a strategy to neutralize the Islamic terrorists rather than attempt to provide dubious perspective. Once again, Talking Points will state that the ISIS savages are running wild because the world is a cowardly place. It shouldn't be all on America. President Obama should lead, but other countries should encourage him to do that. Instead we have a 60-nation coalition that refuses to attack ISIS where it primarily lives in Syria. Meantime, Christians are being slaughtered, children are being raped and forced into military situations, women are being sold into slavery, and any Muslim not Sunni is a death target as well. History will record that is an unbelievable situation."

Rev. Franklin Graham and author Jessica Stern joined The Factor to analyze the peril facing Christians. "It's important for Muslims watching this program," Graham began, "to know that we love them and God loves them. One of the problems we have in the West is that governments have been infiltrated by Muslims, who have gotten into the halls of power." Stern, who wrote a book about ISIS, contended that the Sunni Muslims of ISIS actually crave a confrontation. "They would like to have an apocalyptic battle, a sectarian battle against Shiites and Christians and polytheists. They're committing brutality and massacres in order to goad us into that apocalyptic battle. ISIS's goal is to manage savagery and polarize the world."
Action From the White House?
Guest:Ed Henry
The Factor asked FNC White House correspondent Ed Henry whether President Obama is likely to get tougher on ISIS any time soon. "All the signals from here at the White House," he reported, "are that they are downplaying this the threat. You heard it that the president said this is media hype. White House spokesman Josh Earnest says they are pushing back the 'reign of terror' and that the bombing campaign is working and 'slowing the momentum' of ISIS. But James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence, says he has never seen more threats. This really raises questions about who is in charge."
Immigration Border
Guest:Laura Ingraham
Radio talk show host Laura Ingraham scrutinized President Obama's immigration policies and his failure to press the issue when Democrats controlled Congress. "He knows that if had passed immigration reform just with Democrats," she said, "there would have been conservative wrath. The establishment in both parties knows that legalizing tens of millions of people is really not a popular idea - every poll shows that people want the same or less immigration. And Republicans are trying to serve two masters. They want to serve big business interests that want cheap labor, and they're trying to serve the grass roots, which wants enforcement and a policy that puts American workers at the forefront. This won't be good for Republicans unless they have a clear message." The Factor added that immigrants will help decide who resides in the White House in two years. "Hispanic Americans in the southwest are becoming an electoral factor, and if they perceive that Republicans are anti-immigration, Republicans will suffer.
A New Factor Segment
Guests:Kennedy & Cheryl Casone
The Factor introduced a new feature called "Would You Buy Them Dinner?" In Thursday's first installment, Fox Business hosts Kennedy and Cheryl Casone pondered whether they would dine with the very touchy-feely Joe Biden. "Heck, yes, I would buy Biden dinner," Casone declared, "but if I hit him during dinner we won't make it to the end." Kennedy joked that she would only dine with the VP if there were a glass barrier between them. The duo turned to the prospect of breaking bread with libertarian Ron Paul. "I have a lot of respect for Ron Paul's ideas," Kennedy said, "and he has turned a lot of people on to the liberty movement." But Casone declined the offer. "I would not buy him dinner, he needs to stay away from journalists and microphones. He's been making a lot of gaffes in the past few weeks." The Factor said Ron Paul would not be a good dinner companion because "he was in Congress for more than 20 years and he passed one bill with his name on it, so I don't think he has a lot to tell me."
Legal Pot in DC!
Guests:Greg Gutfeld & Bernard McGuirk
Recreational marijuana, now legal in the District of Columbia, was high on the minds of Greg Gutfeld and Bernard McGuirk. "This is the junk food lobbying groups trying to make a buck," Gutfeld joked. "But I think it's good because stoned bureaucrats are better than sobers ones. I'd rather have them eating hot pockets than having their hands in our pockets." McGuirk described the legislation thusly: "For all intents and purposes you can now 'roll a fatty' in D.C., and I don't mean mug a chubby Congressman." The duo also commented on Madonna's recent and much-replayed fall from the stage. "She fell faster," McGuirk said, "than her last single on the Billboard chart. But she didn't get hurt so we can have a laugh." Gutfeld provided a coda to the segment with a sincere salute to the 56-year-old entertainer. "Madonna has more far professionalism than the people laughing at her, I have absolutely complete respect for her."
How to Defeat ISIS
Guest:Charles Krauthammer
FNC's Charles Krauthammer put forth his plan for defeating, not merely "downgrading," the butchers of ISIS. "We should be running an airlift to the Kurds," he declared. "The Kurds are courageous, skilled, and they have a stake in the game. Number two, we need a serious air campaign. We are doing about 50 sorties a day, while in Kosovo we were doing 500 a day. We should be running an air campaign where no one in ISIS can lift his head out of a foxhole without expecting it to be blown off by the allies. But I think Obama's strategy is to hold things in place and hand it off to his successor." The Factor contended that more international cooperation is required: "I would have an international summit where we would sign up people and coordinate action against ISIS. You get the whole world involved and then you hit 'em."

Factor Words of the Day
Bill Hustwitt, Las Vegas, NV: "Bill, your Talking Points demonstrates a lack of understanding about President Obama. He believes America has brought chaos all over the world. He believes we should adopt the socialist programs of Europe. He believes we should apologize. For those reasons, hatred is a rational response."

Richard Aigen, Quechee, VT: "Any attempt to determine whether our rights are God given is an exercise in futility. Believers believe that, secularists do not. End of story."
