Fighting Against the Jihad.
Guests:Imam Abdul Malik Mujahid
"History will likely state that after 9/11, America overreacted to the al Qaeda threat by invading Iraq and Afghanistan simultaneously. While both campaigns accomplished short-term goals like removing the tyrant Hussein and the vicious Taliban, long-term they did not diminish the jihad. But now the Obama administration is underplaying the threat from the jihad. It is clear to any fair-minded American that there is something amiss with the president's view of the radical Muslim threat. Talking Points does not believe Mr. Obama should have necessarily attended the anti-terror rally in Paris over the weekend, but he should have sent someone in his stead. So now we have the perception that President Obama doesn't much care about defeating jihad. That's probably not true, but certainly he is not a terror warrior. In fact, Secretary of State John Kerry just announced the administration will redirect $250 million to Pakistan, which has helped the jihad dramatically by providing terrorists sanctuary, and still keeps the man who helped the U.S.A. get bin Laden in prison. That country should not get a dime until Dr. Afridi is released from prison and U.S. Special Forces are allowed to engage terrorists on Pakistani soil. In case the president needs to be reminded about the jihad, there is new video of the massacre in Paris. One of the terrorists can be heard shouting in Arabic, 'We have avenged the Prophet Mohammad, we have avenged the Prophet Mohammad.' Once again, Talking Points will state that Muslim-generated terrorism is the biggest threat to the world today. President Obama seems disengaged on that front and continues to make unforced errors. The president needs to wise up fast."

For a radically different view, The Factorwelcomed Abdul Malik Mujahid, the imam behind the upcoming "Stand with the Prophet" conference in Texas. "This is the right time to have this conference," Mujahid insisted, "and throughout America conferences are being held and sermons are being preached in almost all mosques. These people who kill are enemies of Muslims, so this is the time for Muslims to speak up for truth and justice. We are against hate and terror." The Factorpointedly asked Mujahad why his conference includes radical New York imam Siraj Wahhaj, who has called for a Muslim takeover of the USA. "He has not committed any crimes," Mujahad responded, "and I am also willing to bring you. This will be a conference of 10,000 people from 80 countries. One of these days people like Siraj Wahhaj and Bill O'Reilly will understand each other." The Factor told Mujahid he is making a grave error by including Wahhaj at the conference: "He's a radical, he's a sympathizer with the terrorists, and you are hanging with him."
Not Attending Paris Rally
Guests:Howard Kurtz & Lauren Ashburn
After the White House failed to send a representative to the anti-terror rally in Paris Sunday, the ABC and CBS evening news programs essentially ignored the story. Media analysts Howard Kurtz and Lauren Ashburn critiqued that decision. "Scott Pelley gave this three sentences on CBS," Kurtz groused, "but that was voluminous compared to the Washington Post and New York Times, which had no stories on what everybody around the globe has been buzzing about. This reveals an utter blind spot by some in the media to criticizing Obama." Ashburn lauded NBC News for giving the story a large amount of play. "NBC has a team of reporters that has stayed on this story, which maybe shows that they are turning to harder news. This is about the optics of President Obama not showing up for this march when every other world leader did."
Killed by an American Drone
Guest:Judge Andrew Napolitano
The Factor welcomed FNC analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano, who claims the administration is breaking the law when it kills U.S. citizens who have traveled to other countries to join the jihad. "Anwar al-Awlaki was an American citizen in Yemen," Napolitano said, "and I'll concede that he was giving aid and comfort to the enemy. But Congress never authorized the president to kill people who haven't been charged with a crime, and the Constitution says you can only punish for treason after there has been a trial. If they can do this to al-Awlaki, they can do it to anybody." But The Factor insisted, "The president has the power to defend the nation from the jihadists, Congress gave him the authorization to use military force."
Clash of Civilizations
Guest:John Stossel
Even before last week's terror attacks in Paris, much of Europe was embroiled in a contentious debate between multiculturalists and those who want added surveillance of Muslims. Fox Business host John Stossel entered the No Spin Zone with his take. "No one is saying you shouldn't monitor these people," Stossel said, "but I don't like it when the Mayor of London talks about this 'civil liberties stuff.' We fought a war over this 'civil liberties stuff' and it matters. They can already spy on people, they just need judicial oversight."
Controversial I.D. Cards
Guests:Kimberly Guilfoyle & Lis Wiehl
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is having the city issue free photo I.D. cards to pretty much anybody who requests one. Legal analysts Lis Wiehl and Kimberly Guilfoyle elaborated on the program. "If you are 14 or over," Wiehl reported, "you can go to the library or some place like that and show identification. You don't need a visa or a passport, you just need something from a foreign government. It doesn't even have to be machine-readable, you can color it in!" Guilfoyle theorized that Mayor de Blasio, a man of the far left, is making it easier for foreign nationals to obtain government assistance. "There are very few requirements for this. I think it's a grab for welfare and benefits and this is fraught with problems."
Presidential Politics
Guest:Laura Ingraham
The Republican field is overflowing with prospective presidential candidates, among them Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Scott Walker. FNC's Laura Ingraham opined on those three front-runners. "Any of them would be better than Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren," she said at the outset. "Jeb Bush is definitely running, but the last time he ran for office in 2002 the iPhone hadn't been invented. He's also become very divisive within the Republican Party. Scott Walker is very attractive, he was elected handily in Wisconsin, and it's very impressive what he's done to reform things there. And Romney has been through this game before. I would hope he has learned a lot of lessons and, if he runs, he will run to the right of Jeb Bush." The Factor pressed Ingraham, asking which of the three would get her vote. "It would be a tie between Walker and Romney," she said, "but I'll say Romney because he's been through the mill before."
Viewers Sound Off
Factor Words of the Day
Wayne Delopst, Pattaya, Thailand: "O'Reilly, lay off bashing the president for not attending the anti-terror rally in Paris. After all, Putin, Castro, and Kim Jong Un did not attend either."

Stephen Stratton, Oroville, CA: "President Obama had no intention of linking arms with real world leaders. O'Reilly, you enable the left wing loons by having them on the Factor."

Tom Quigan, Oxnard, CA: "God Bless Bill O'Reilly! You had the Democrat strategist Mark Hannah so befuddled, he couldn't even express the talking points he was given."

Dale Pizzini, Springfield, VA: "I can no longer bear to watch Watters. The people he interviews are ignorant and their numbers are growing. We are doomed."

Mary Knight, Chesapeake, VA: "We love watching Jesse! He looked great on New Year's Eve and is secure enough to have his own style. Please give him more respect, O'Reilly."
