While the mug is double insulated very hot liquids may cause the lower metal portion to feel warm.
This travel mug is handwash only. These travel mugs like all stainless steel is not microwavable. |

| Great mug. This is my second one purchased because it is quality material and durable. I love the taste of drinks in it because of the stainless steel interior and the smooth lip part of the lid. Drinks do not have that plastic taste to them. The lid is easy to get on and off, it doesn't leak, even when hot liquids cool down, and it has an easy back-and-forth closure. |

| Joined about three weeks ago and don't know why I waited soooo long. The pen you sent me almost paid for my fee to join.
