This morning, almost all the morning programs ran Covid scare stories for the first 15 minutes of the broadcasts. The theme was exactly the same: stay home. Cancel Christmas plans. Be very afraid.

 

And many folks are scared witless.   

 

The fear campaign has been launched because many hospitals are full and “health emergencies” are mounting in some places. With a vaccine coming, this may be Covid’s last stand but it remains a major threat.
